The draught regulator is designed to regulate the natural draught fluctuations in a chimney system by stabilising the pressure conditions, which will result in smoother, more controlled combustion. It is an automatic secondary air device to be directly mounted to the connecting pipe (flue pipe). This model uses a simple mechanism without cushioned dampers and has a retaining strap for mounting on the flue pipe. It is suitable for all pipes from 150-180mm diameter and can be used on inclined and vertical pipes.
APPLICATION
The 012 - RARO Draught Regulator can be used with solid fuel and gas/oil appliances.
INSTALLATION
Draught regulators are mounted onto the connecting pipe/stove pipe and must not be installed if the following would occur
- The complete and safe discharge of flue gases would be in any way impaired.
- Dangerous quantities of the flue gases could escape if the system becomes backed up or is subjected to backdraught.
- The testing and/or cleaning of the flue system would become impaired.
